The trip is divided into two parts. First, the boys go fishing on the Avalon rivers, and then hit the road up to Corner Brook where they got to fish on the Humber River. To provide a helping hand, Paul invites his friends Chris Baird, a local guide, and Jeremy Charles, one of the best chefs in Canada who is also a Newfoundland native. The trout were uncooperative, but the salmon caught by accident and the evenings spent by the fire enjoying delicious meals prepared by Paul and Jeremy easily made up for the lack of fish.
