During our trip to find rainbow and brown trout, we met with Sean, a local guide who helped us in our search. We had to follow riverbeds that flow through the valleys from the legendary Taupo lake, to then sneak up on very nervous trout. To this day we remember Poronui as one of the best places to go fishing, with new breathtaking scenery we’d discover every day.
