Derek welcomes us and shows us his fishing camp, the Wolfpeak Lodge, located along the shores of the Miramichi River. Despite the hot weather, we decided to go fishing out by the intersection between the Renous and Miramichi River, an ideal spot for fly fishing during high tide. The summer temperatures make it quite an experience! We don’t lose hope and we take full advantage of our stay on the magnificent Miramichi River.
