Drawn by stories of sea-run brookies, chrome Atlantic salmon and giant Arctic char cohabiting in the unique area where the Leaf River connects with the Ungava Bay, we travelled to the village of Tasiujaq. There, the people of the North taught us to look beneath the rugged surface of their ancestral hunting and fishing grounds, where lies, for those willing to seek, glorious and abundant bounty. This is the story of a fishing quest in the kingdom of aurora borealis, where the pursuit of adventure meets the timeless traditions of adaptation and sharing.
