Once the traps installed, the wait begins. We take the time to go ice fishing for trout. With a few dozen lines at different depths, we get some nice fish in no time.
To go further in the forest and access tight paths that can’t be reached by snowmobiles, we head out in dog sleds to make the rounds on our traps. After heavy snowfall and walking through paths, we find something unexpected. We finish the adventure by skinning the prey we caught, a satisfying end to this hunting season.
