Are you a gear passionate looking for an opportunity to work in the outdoors world? We are looking for a Store and Events Manager to join our team and play a key role amongst our great community. Part-time or full-time opportunities available.
This position involves welcoming and advising customers who visit our Quebec City store. The store manager will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, general order, and stocking of the store. The successful candidate will also be responsible for after-sales customer service. The role also involves participating in various outdoor, hunting, and fishing events that Hooké will be attending to represent the brand. We will develop the role around the potential of the applicant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Open and prepare the store to ensure it is always ready to welcome customers.
- Provide advice to customers on clothing, fishing gear, outdoor equipment, and our various products.
- Prepare online and in-store pickup orders.
- Prepare and participate in our different events.
- Handle customer service and after-sales support by responding to various customer questions and requests.
- Perform other duties as assigned, based on the individual's skills and experience.
Competencies required:
- Knowledge and interest in technical apparel;
- Present and express yourself in a professional manner;
- Excellent fluency in French and English, both spoken and written;
- Retail experience and a strong interest in sales;
- Event experience is an asset;
- Knowledge of fly fishing and hunting is an asset.
