After waiting all winter for this moment, the time had come to get back on our rivers and fish for atlantics! This time around it was Stuart’s and Émile’s turn to get their hands on their first atlantic salmon. The guys headed out north of the Saint Lawrence River to Port-Cartier, in Côte-Nord, at the mouth of the Rivière aux Rochers River. The rivalry between them was pretty funny, but at the end of the day they both got their hands on what they were looking for. After all it’s all about having a good time!
Rivière aux Rochers, Côte-Nord
Bon Iver - Skinny Love (JR Nelson Remix)
First atlantic for Stuart and Émile
Stuart and Émile battled it out on the Rivière aux Rochers River to get their hands on their first atlantic salmon. Stuart managed to get a few on the line but Émile ended the day with the biggest one of the trip. An experience they will definitely not forget!
A fly fishing adventure on rivière aux Rochers
Rivière aux Rochers River is located on the north shore of the Saint-Lawrence River in the Côte-Nord region. Taking source in the ancient glacial valley of Lake Walker, its water stays cold all summer, offering prime atlantic salmon spawning ground.
